I gained a much clearer understanding of my son's profile and how it looks in the classroom environment. I felt supported and educated moving forward to request a measured/qualified understanding of my son's accomplishments and abilities to date. I felt more confident asking for more support at the school level. I did not feel "alone" in this new process of advocacy for my son at school. I am feeling much more qualified as a parent advocate.
