Advocacy requires paper and lots of it. Understand not only what supporting documents are required, but learn to direct third party professionals to include specific language and context used by school boards and the Ministry of Education. Speak authoritatively by developing an in-depth understanding of who your child is and the impact their specific learning deficits have within the classroom environment.

Being prepared, informed and engaging in peer support is the single most important thing you can do to help your child!
