About Barb...
Barb specializes in teaching clients to successfully understand the learning issues their child has and identifies specifically the appropriate strategies that clients must use to access school board services and programs for their child’s academic success. After a successful career as a retail planner/designer and adult education teacher, Barb now teaches other people to achieve success for their children who fall under the Special Education umbrella in Halton. As a regular attendee to school board meetings you will find her asking difficult questions and seeking clarity on behalf of the parents she represents.
As a former member of the HDSB early kindergarten registration committee she recognizes the time sensitivity of effective advocacy for children falling behind in school and she dedicates her professional efforts to expediting the access of up-to-date and accurate information for other parents who will travel the same road she has over the past 8 years.
